No one will notice this spy cam at work when it is mounted on the ceiling capturing all that goes on beneath it. However, one word of warning: The smoke detector is not functional, it is a camera, it cannot detect smoke and should not be used as a safety device.
The Down-View Smoke Detector hidden camera works best when mounted to the ceiling. Therefore it can be installed in various locations such as over a cash register or stock receiving doors.
The video is transmitted either hardwired or by a wireless transmitter to the receiver. You then connect your VCR or other recording device such as a handheld DVR (available here) to record the video. (Choose between hardwired or wireless model.) Both models of the smoke detector are powered by a standard plug in.
